Spring Term starts week 5 & 6, new and returning students welcome!

Stockholm and Gothenburg Schedule:

Spring Term 2012 ( 14 weeks) Locations: Nybergsgatans Montessoriförskola, Förskolan Lär, Alexanderskolan, Keruben, Lidingö, all Saturday classes                                         

Session 1 (7 weeks): week 5-12 (no class week 9) GBG: week 5-12 (no class week 7)
Session 2 (7 weeks): week 15-21/22 (no class week 13 & 14 or national holidays)

Spring Term 2012 ( 14 weeks) All schools: Hillelskolan, Östermalmskolan, Vasaskolan, Scoutstuga, Långängsskolan, Solsidan and Skutehagen                                     

Session 1 (7 weeks): week 6-13 (no class week 9) GBG: week 6-13 (no class week 7)
Session 2 (7 weeks): week 16-22/23 (no class week 14 & 15 or national holidays)

Class Info:

• Lessons are 40-45 min. depending on age
• Classes are divided by age and ability
• Classes are limited to approximately 6 children per instructor
• Missed classes may be made-up (if another class at your child's level is available the same session)
• Two terms are offered per year with a different themes each class (2 year program)
• No classes on national or school holidays

Fees:

• One full term (14 weeks) is 1950:-
• Each term is broken up into two 7-week sessions. If you prefer to pay per session the cost is 1050:- per session 
• Sibling dicount: If more than one child is enrolled in classes, each additional child will receive a 100 kr. discount
• Refer a friend to one of our classes and if they register, you will receive 100 kr. discount on your next term fee. Simply send us an email with the name of the person you referred.
• English4Kids is for children of all economic backgrounds. If you would like to enroll your child but find our fees too expensive for your budget, please contact us regarding payment plans or "scholarships". Discounts and full scholarships are available for families in need.

Beginner English: Kids Only (age 3-9)

This class if for children who are beginners at the English language. No previous exposure to the language required. The class consists of a discussion/song circle time and vocabulary building games and an art or craft activity. New themes are introduced each term and ongoing themes such as manners, greetings, seasons and holidays are explored. For the older children, reading and writing skills are incorporated in the lessons but verbal skills are emphasized.

Advanced/Bilingual English (age 3-9)

This class is for children who are bilingual, native English speakers or children who have attended English speaking schools abroad. Good command of the English language required.This class is currently located on Saturday mornings in Östermalm and Västra Frölunda in Göteborg, but can be created at any school if there is enough interest. The class consists of a discussion/song circle time and vocabulary building games and an art or craft activity. New themes are introduced each term and ongoing themes are explored. For the older children, reading and writing skills are incorporated in the lessons but verbal skills are emphasized.

Private Lessons/Tutoring (all ages)

English4Kids offers private and semi-private tutoring which can be tailored to your child/children's specific needs and held in your home or your child’s school, or a library. Private tutoring can be very “fun” and creative with a lot of focus on basic conversational English and academic play, or lessons can be more academically focused on traditional English Language skills (reading, writing, grammar, and spelling). Educational Childcare (all ages) 

Educational Childcare is a service where native English speakers spend quality time with your children and expose them to the English language. Our instructors can pick your children up from their daycare or school or come directly to your home. Educational Childcare consists of engaging in conversations, playing games, reading books, helping with homework, baking snacks or treats, and being a positive caregiver while introducing or strengthening your child's English language skills. As childcare is considered “husarbete” according to skatteverket, you only pay English4Kids for half of the cost. Please clcik on Tutoring/Childcare for prices and interest form.

Mother Tongue/"Modersmålsundervisning" (all ages)

English4Kids can also provide Mother Tongue classes at your pre-school or school for children who have an English speaking parent or speak English at home. Stockholm Kommun allows schools to work with private teachers but not all Kommuns have this policy. Please contact us for more information. We also work with many other Foreign Languages (French, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, Italian...) for Mother Tongue and private lessons.
